SURE-P Employs 3,000 In Kebbi
The Kebbi State Coordinator of the Subsidy Reimbursement Programme (SURE-P), Alhaji Sama’ila Dankasa, said last Tuesday, that 3,000 vulnerable persons had been employed through the initiative in the state.
The coordinator, who disclosed this while addressing youths at Bunza, said those employed included youths, women and other vulnerable persons.
Dankasa said the programme was aimed at reducing unemployment and youth restiveness in the country.
He advised beneficiaries of the programme to save enough money to establish businesses at the end of the exercise in order to become self-reliant.
“I assure the youths that are yet to benefit from the programme that another batch would be engaged,’’ he said.
