Rivers SWAN Member Bags Award

A member of the Rivers Chapter of Sports Writers Associationof Nigeria, Allanso Jonathan Allanso has been awarded and honoured for his grassroots sports development.

Presenting the award to him at the News Writer Newspaper’s office,  the president of the league of Character Club Nigeria, Chief “Character” Christian Kokoriko said, Allanso was chosen for the the award due to his immenee contribution, hardwork, and doggedness in the journalism profession.

The character boss further assured that other journalists would be honoured soon, adding that the body is compiling some of the hard working personnel in the pen profession.

Responding, Allanso Jonathan Allanso, expressed happiness, saying that he was humbled by the award and pledged never to let the league of character club down because of the confidence reposed in him.

He also added that the award would spur him to work harder for society’s growth and dedicated the award to his Creator.

Also speaking, the Managing Editor of News Writer Newspaper, Mr Damiete West thanked the club for honouring one of their own and urged the group to continue with his good work.
