NFF Moves To Reconcile South-South Zone

In a bid to resolve the crisis rocking South-South Congress of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) a four man reconciliatory committee headed by Peter Singabelle has been set-up to reconcile aggrieved members in the zone.

This was contained in a communiqué signed by Benjamin Akobo after the meeting of the congress held over the weekend at Muriela Hotel, Port Harcourt.

The congress reaffirmed Barrister Christopher Green as the co-ordinator of the zone while expressing satisfaction with his achievement so far as the chairman, Technical committee NFF.

According to the communiqué, Dr Peter Singabelle has also been appointed as the patron of the South-South zone of NFF.

In order to promote unity in the zone we have agreed to organise pre-season tournaments for clubs.

We passed an implicit vote of confidence on the Alhaji Amino Maigari led NFF executive bard”.

The congress used the opportunity to advice clubs to support the State Football Association (FAs) to enable them perform their statutory functions especially during league matches, adding that South-South NFF would hold meetings quarterly.
