Bank Advises Nigerians On Savings Culture

Ecobank Nigeria Plc has urged Nigerians to embrace savings culture in order to achieve social and economic goals.

The Area Manager Abuja, Ecobank Nigeria, Mr. Mustafa Banye, said at the bank’s ‘Giant Giveaway Promo’ in Abuja that the Pan-African banking network was committed to the African dream.

According to a statement by the bank, seven lucky winners have emerged at the promo organised to reward loyal customers.

The customers are Mubarak Dantata, Mohammed Kebbi, Eze Okechukwu, Shettima Gaji, Gloria Takuma, Ekwem Sampson and Chike Nzekwe. They won air conditioner, BlackBerry phone, deep freezer, generator set, home theatre, LED TV and washing machine, respectively.

Banye said, “We integrate, support the economic growth of Africa; we started in West Africa, then spread to the East and now we are in 33 countries and still counting.”

It would be recalled that the promo which was inaugurated in September had winners in the first and second draws held in Lagos and Port Harcourt, respectively.

The Head of Domestic Product, Ecobank Nigeria, Mrs. Adeola Dare, said that customers were only required to deposit at least N30, 000 into their current or savings account.

She added, “Maintaining such deposit for at least three months qualifies the customer for the grand draw. The ‘2013 Giant Prize Give Away promo’ gives participating customers the opportunity to own a Honda CRV SUV and loads of other prizes at the monthly draws through to the end of December.”
