A recent report making
rounds in the entertainment clan has it that the family of late pop music legend, Micheal Jacksond, and multitude of his fans have protested the release of his doctor, Conrad Murray, who was convicted of causing Micheal Jackson’s death in June 2009.
It was gathered that, Conrad Murray, who is 60 years old left the Los Angeles prison a free man recently.  The physician was convicted in 2011 of involuntary manslaughter.  The pop super star died after receiving a lethal dose of the anesthetic propofol, which Murray was given Jackson as a sleep aid.
The doctor was sentenced to a four year term, but a change in California law allowed his incarceration time to be significantly cut down.  The change it was further gathered is designed to alleviate chronic over crowding in the state’s prison system.
According to the source, Murray’s radical licenses have been suspended or revoked in three states where he had previously  practiced medicine since his release, the doctor is said to has been seeking to hire a publicist and to also have his medical licences reinstated.
Meanwhile, Murray has denied that he was responsible for Jackson’s death.  According to him, he was trying to wean the singer off the drug.  The report indicates that Murray is currently appealing his conviction and his lawyer has fielded numerous big money offers for his first post jail television interview.
Last month, the jury in a civil court case ruled that Murray had not been runfit for the job of looking after Jackson.  The jury dismissed a claim by the Jackson family that concert promoter AEG Live was negligent in hiring the doctor.
