African King Gives Kudos To PH Entertainment Clan

Afro hip-hop Star, Sampson Agwara, popularly known in the showbiz enclave as the African King has commended the Rivers State government on the continuous growth of the entertainment industry.
The Imo State born-singer, in an interview with The Tide Entertainment, said “the fact that Rivers State has become the entertainment state in Nigeria is because both the government and the private sector are playing supportive roles through regular events, the night life is second to non because of the freedom of movement though under the watchful eyes of the security operatives.”
The “African King” who has being playing music since childhood said he was inspired by his mother who is also a popular singer and his younger brother who is into gospel music”, music runs in my family”, he said. According to him, his dream is to become stars like D’banj, 2Face, P Square Terry G. etc that is why he is working hard towards that goal which he hopes to achieve in Port Harcourt.
He already has a hip hop album titled ‘killer’ and’ ‘my Baby Dance 4 me” a dance hall music. According to him, most of his songs are in mixed tapes.
On his choice of Afro hip hop as a genre, he explained that Afro hip hop is a mixture of Nigeria and foreign music to make it international and it gives you freedom of expression
