“That we call on Nigerians to appeal to the President to call his aides and supporters to order in order not to unnecessarily overheat the polity,” the statement added.
Speaking with newsmen later, Comrade Ikenda said that the youths are concerned about the safety of Governor Amaechi.
According to him, the youths have also noted with concern the continuous attack on Innocent people of Rivers State by security agencies especially the Nigerian Police.
“It becomes more worrisome when even the Governor himself, who happens to be the chief security officer of the state, is not exempted from the autocracy end dictatorship of the federal government,” he said.
He, however, said that Ikwerre youths would continue to remain law abiding and peaceful.
