Sharks Form Excites Captain

Captain of Sharks Football Club of Port Harcourt Odinga Odinga has said he is happy with the team’s progress despite initial talks that the team will go on relegation during their troubled start at the beginning of the season.

Odinga commended his team mates for holding forth till the end of season describing technical adviser of the side Gbenga Ogunbote as an astute tactician.

He is confident the team will challenge for available silver ware when hostilities get under way for the new season judging by the performance of the team in the second stanza of the league,

”People never believed we would escape relegation. Before this time, people had written us off. Some even went on air to say Sharks will go on relegation,” he said.

“We can see a sign of good things coming next season because the man we are working with is a man that wants to win. As you can see the team has picked up. So people should expect a continental ticket from the team next season.”odinga said.

Odinga further described Ogunbote as his own special one.

“He is a man I owe a lot to, for God to have used him to bring us out of relegation. He is a man that has the ambition of winning. If I may say I want to call him my own special one”.Odinga stressed.
