GovernorRochas Okorocha of
Imo State  has attributed his successes in life and politics to divine direction from God.
Okorocha made the declaration in Owerri while receiving members of the Nigeria Rescue Missionaries Network, a group of missionaries from different denominations.
He said the achievements his administration recorded would not have been possible without divine direction.
The governor also said the 10-minute mid-day prayer instituted in the state was part of the success story.
He commended the missionaries for mobilising themselves for a common course of interceding for peace and progress of the state and Nigeria in general.
Okorocha called on other ministers of God to pray for the nation instead of leaving everything in the hands of politicians to ensure positive transformation.
“If politicians fail, men of God must not fail,” he said.
The governor, who volunteered to be the group’s patron, donated undisclosed amount and a bus to the group to assist in its missionary programmes.
The National Chairman of the group, Pastor Cyracus Jacob, said the organisation comprised five thousands ministers of God from the six geo-political zones and worked for the peace and progress of the country.
