Liyel Imoke has predicted that Ethiopia are in for a torrid time when they face Nigeria in the second leg of the World Cup qualifying play-off billed to take place at the U. J. Esuene Stadium in Calabar.

The Cross River State Governor stated that he expected  Super Eagles of Nigeria to easily despatch the Ethiopians in Calabar, even as he assured that the people of Canaan City would extend their tradition of hospitality to the Ethiopian entourage.

“I trust the Super Eagles to get the job done and done quickly,” Cross River State Commissioner of Sports, Patrick Ugbe quotes the Governor to have said.

‘“After that, we will give all our visitors including the Ethiopians the typical Calabar hospitality because we remain the preferred tourism destination not only in Nigeria but in the entire African continent.”

The Eagles go into the second leg with a 2-1 aggregate lead, courtesy of a brace from Emmanuel Emenike in the first leg played at Addis Ababa.
