CNPP Rates Amaechi High

The Conference of
Nigeria Political Parties (CNPP), Rivers State chapter, has rated high the government of Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi in terms of unity in governance in the state since 1999.
Chairman of the group, Deacon Princewill Enyi disclosed this recently in an interview with The Tide in Port Harcourt.
According to him, CNPP’s score-board from 1999 till date shows that Governor Amaechi’s administration has involved more members of other political parties in the state in his cabinet than previous governments.
He also noted that, besides appointing non-PDP members into positions, Governor Amaechi’s government had also blazed the trail in spreading contract awards and employment based on merit, irrespective of party affiliation.
Enyi commended the  Amaechi-led administration’s policy of looking beyond party lines in public policy implementation.
He, however, predicted that the candidate of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) would emerge as governor of Rivers State in the 2015 polls.
He said every arrangement for the party to win in the 2014 local government and 2015 polls would be unveiled early next year.
Enyi stated that NNPP is the only political party that will rule the state without rancour and acrimony among the political class.
