Sharks Set To Overrun ABS, Today
Sharks Football Club of Port Harcourt mercurial midfielder, Jonah Abutu says his team is in confident mood after the one all draw recorded against Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan at the Adamasigba last week as they get set to do battle against Abubakar Bukola Saraki boys in Port Harcourt, today.
Abutu stressed that though they would miss the services of Yinka Adedeji who is out with flu as well as the trio of Abraham Okereke, Nasiru Hussaini who are both out of action due to injury and Gabriel Olaleken through suspension, the team is battle ready to take ABS to the cleaners.
“We have not allowed the result against 3SC last week to get into our heads having played fifty minutes of that match with one man down after Gabriel Olalekan was shown a straight red card”Abutu said
“We are very ready for the match against ABS and as for me it is nothing other than victory”.
He added that the X-factor driving the team since the second stanza of the league got underway the unity of purpose to have a comfortable finish at the end of the season.
“We have everything going for us now and we have the understanding, everybody is ready to work hard to make the team have a respectable and comfortable finish at the end of the season”. Abutu added.
