Screening For Miss Earth Holds In PH

tants for this year’s Miss Earth beauty pageant kicked off in Port Harcourt last  Wednesday, at the Silverbird Cinemas, former Obi Wali Cultural Centre along Abonnema Wharf Road, Port Harcourt.
According to the organiser of the pageant and National President of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Miss Ibinabo Fiberesima,  Lagos audition followed on the 5th of September  while  Abuja audition is stated for today  6th of September 2013.
It was also gathered that the winner of the beauty pageant goes home with N3million cash prize, a management contract, a brand new Toyota Camry and will represent Nigeria in the Miss Earth World Pageant in the Philippines.
The first runner up will receive N1million cash prize, a management contract and represent Nigeria at Miss International in Japan while the 2nd runner up, Miss Earth Water gets N500,000.00 cash prize, a management contract and represent Nigeria at the Bride of the World in Singapore.
It would be recalled that since the first edition of the Miss Earth Nigeria kicked off in 2001, the event has become an iconic event as young beautiful girls from all over the country continue to look forward to the event every year.
