NNL Begins, Nov 6

The Executive Board
of the Nigeria National League (NNL) says its new season would begin on November 6.
A statement by the board said it would hold a seminar for club officials and other stakeholders before the kick-off date.
It said the Chairman, Emeka Iyama, expressed the belief that the resumption became imperative to ensure early conclusion of the football season.
Inyama said that football fans would see new improvement in the organisation, management and prosecution of the competition.
“Club officials and other stakeholders will converge for a seminar before the kick-off of the league.
“The aim is to educate them on how best to make the league meet the expectations of the board,’’ Inyama said.
He said that the new season would be attractive to sponsors and appealed to the teams to adhere strictly to the rules and regulations of the competition.
