Female Cashier In Court Over Theft

A thirty five year-old female cashier of Peace Mass Transit Company Ltd, Felicia Eze, appeared before a Port Harcourt Chief Magistrate Court for allegedly stealing the sum of five hundred thousand naira on charge no PMC/1297/2013.
The accused person and others now at large  are standing  trial on a two count charge of conspiracy and stealing before Chief Magistrate E.C.Woke.
The prosecution told the court that the person and others now at large between the month of February, 2013 and 17th June, 2013 at Peace Mass Transit Company Ltd, No 233 Port Harcourt Aba Road by Rumuola Junction, Port Harcourt in the Port Harcourt Magisterial District did conspired among themselves to commit felony to wit stealing.
The prosecution further alleged that the accused persons on the same date and place in the aforesaid magisterial district being the cashier of the transport company did steal the sum of five hundred thousand naira (N500,000), property of peace mass transit company limited and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 516A (I) and 390 of the criminal code cap 37 Vol II laws of Rivers State 1999.
The accused person pleaded not guilty on the charge brought against her.
The presiding Chief Magistrate EC. Woke admitted to bail with the sum of fifty thousand naira (N50,000) with a surety who must produce four passport photographs and address must  be verified by the court prosecutor and later adjoined the matter to the 23rd of October, 2013 for hearing.
