Entertainment Centres In PH Set For Independence Celebration

dence anniversary of Nigeria, the giant  of Africa comes up on 1st October  2013, show biz personalities have put up special events at some of the entertainment centres in Port Harcourt to celebrate  it in a very big way.
Our investigations reveal  that  there would be a special show by the Krikata master himself, Emmanuel Amachree, aka Oba Omega featuring  the Krikata and soccer dancers as well as other guest artistes at the Boomerang nite club, Rumuogba (old Aba Road)
Another  special  show is billed to take place at the Royal Afrigue nite club Rumuekini as well as their branch at Rumuokurushi along the Port Harcourt/Aba Express Road Port Harcourt.
According to the club Manager, Prince Victor Ifeanyi Mini, Tuesdays is not  one of their club nights, but since  this year’s anniversary celebration falls  on a Tuesday, efforts have been made to organise a special  show that day for people to come, wine, dine, dance and relax themselves because a strong and united Nigeria at 53 calls for big celebration, irrespective of the hard economy and poor living conditions.
He disclosed that the special event will feature strip dancing, comedy shows professional dancers and other side attractions. The manager  called on fun seekers to come and take advantage of the special package in a quiet environment that boasts of comfort and  relaxation.
Other entertainment outlet in the city include: Mr. D’ Plaza, D-Line  Devang nite club, Rumuigbo, Raza hotels  Rumuaholu, Illusions (Orazi) Blue Elephant, GRA, Cassablanca, GRA, Mr. Sweet Aba  Road, Hotel Presidential etc.
There are also  special independence shows this weekend at Everrich Choba, Gokin Nable Hotels,  Ogbakiri junction along the East West Road, Port Harcourt, as well as Artrum event centre, Stadium road Port Harcourt where Daniel D’ Hamaerus and  his colleagues in the comedy world would hold sway on the 29th September.
Apart from these entertainment hangouts, operators of drinking joints, Eateries and fast food sellers are also warming up for the great  celebrations as they usually smile to the banks after such big occasions, due to the high patronage from the public.
The cinema  houses such as Silverbird Cinemas located at the former Obi-Wali Cultural Centre, along Abonnama Whart road, Port Harcourt  and Genesis Delux Cinemas located at Tombia Street, GRA, Port Harcourt,  are not left out as they have lined up special hit movies to entertain viewers as well as  other side attractions.
