Police To Embark On Capacity Building
The Enugu state commissioner of police, Abubakar Adamu Mohammed, has expressed the readiness of the command to embark vigorously on several capacity building programmes in line with the transformation agenda of the present police leadership in the country.
According to him, the idea is aimed at equipping the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) with modern techniques in crime prevention and detection.
Adamu, who made this public last Wednesday while addressing officers and men of the Anti kidnap unit of the command currently on E tracking training and call analysis data, among others noted that the training would be very useful to their duty schedule and charged them to be serious with it.
The Enugu State Police boss further disclosed that the “exercise will run in batches and that is why you people have been shared in groups to enable all of you benefit immensely in this all important programme”.
He also submitted that already the command has commenced security sensitisation workshop of all the Divisions in the state, adding that the command is equally embarking on police/ Neighbourhood watch group sensitisation workshop taking off from September this year.
