Nmerukini Urges Support For Amaechi

The Chairman of Local
Government Service Commission Rivers state, Chief  Azubuike Nmerukini has canvassed  unflinching  support of Rivers people to Rivers State Governor, Chibuike  Rotimi Ameachi in his present  political challenges.
Speaking at the Sensitisation and inauguration of Rivers Leadership Advancement Foundation  (RIVLEAF), Port Harcourt Local Government  Area chapter at the weekend in in the Rivers State capital, Chief Nmerukini stated that Governor  Amaechi  blazed the trail in democratic  leadership  by spreading development projects and programmes  across  the 23 local government areas.
He advised  the people of the Port Harcourt local government area  to remain  steadfast with Governor Ameachi, describing him as a patriotic Governor whose achievements would be remembered by  generation to come in the State.
Nmerukini called on politicians fighting Governor  Ameachi to shun  Bitterness and acrimony and    embrace dialogue  in the interest of peace and sustainable  development in the state.
Speaking in an interview with The Tide the Chairman of all RIVLEAF chairmen in Rivers State, Hon. Dickson Temple Wobo advised  the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party ( P.D.P) at the  national level to disregard those who are feeding it with wrong information Governor Amaechi’s alleged imprudent with State funds.
He said  RIVLEAF  in the State has come out with vision to ensure that the voices  and the mandate of people at grassroot remain  the vessel for democracy to thrieve on in the state.
Such dignitaries as Hon. Worgu Boms  the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Rivers State, Special Assistant  to Governor on Domestic Affairs, Hon. Igo Chinda and Dame  Alice Lawrence Nemi, Commissioner Ministry of Education, Rivers State solicited support for Governor Ameachi .
