Martins Open To Trabzonspor Move

Nigeria striker, Obafemi Martins is open to a possible move to Turkish club Trabzonspor according to media reports.

There have been reports that Martins is wanted by Trabzonspor to strengthen their squad upfront as they are focussing their efforts to do well in the Uefa Europa League.

Trabzonspor missed out on signing Cote d’Ivoire star Salomon Kalou and now want Martins instead.

Martins plays for Seattle Sounders in the Major League Soccer (MLS) in America.

Also, Turkish Super League club Gaziantepspor has become the latest club interested in signing Sunshine Stars defender Godfrey Oboabona.

According to media reports in Turkey, the Nigeria international is Gaziantepspor’s number one target ahead of the new season.

Oboabona’s price tag is around a 1-million Euros.

He recently made news headlines when he turned down a trial at Arsenal saying the club did not show him respect.

The defender, who has been a force in the heart of Nigeria’s defence, has been linked to a number of clubs in Ukraine, France, England and Germany.
