GM Reaffirms Support For Rotary Club

The President of Rotary Club of Port Harcourt, Ms Mediline Tador has solicited partnership of the media with the Rotary Club in its efforts to render service that will improve the lives of Nigerians.

Speaking during a courtesy visit to General Manager of Rivers State Newspaper Corporation, publishers of The Tide Newspaper, Wednesday, the president said that the purpose of the visit is to enhance partnership with the media.

She said that Rotary Club of Port Harcourt is an award winning club which undertakes various projects such as conflict resolution, economic empowerment, education and polio eradication.

Tador who is also the General Manager of Rivers State Broadcasting Corporation urged the media to support the club which is an international organisation that is contributing to make the world a better place, noting that with collaboration, the society would achieve a lot.

Also speaking, the General Manager of Rivers State Newspaper Corporation, Mr Celestine Ogolo said it was a privilege to partner with Rotary Club of Port Harcourt, adding that the corporation will support the club because of the important role Rotary Club played in the well-being of the society.

He assures of the corporations partnership with the club to inform the public and also create awareness about what Rotary Club is all about.

Ogolo congratulated Mediline Tador for emerging as president of the club, and expressed confidence that many good things will flow in Rotary Club and  that the club will move to a greater level.”
