Senator Boosts Power Supply In Khana Communities

The Senator representing, Rivers South East Senatorial District, Senator Magnus Abe has donated two 500KVA transformers, to Kaa Community and one 500KVA transformer to Beri Community, both in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Speaking during a courtesy call on the Mene Zorgo Numa in Kaa Community, Chief  Ambrose Kii, Senator Abe said the transformers were to boost power supply in the community and Promote local economy through entrepreneurial development.
Senator Abe who commended Kaa community for its resilience and peaceful disposition, urged the people to remain law abiding as that was the only measure of attracting development projects to the area.
Senator Abe assured the people of his senatorial district of effective  representation, and called for their support to attract development objectives to the area.
Meanwhile the people of Kaa Community were excited over the donation of the transformers, which they noted will fastract development in the community.
In his remark, the Mene Zorgo Numaa, Chief Ambrose Kii, commended the senator over this gesture and described him as a leader committed to the development of his people.
Chief Kii who is also the Executive Director, Ogonis in the Diaspora Organisation (ODO) assured the protection and judicious use of the infrastructure provided for the community.
The traditional leader who described Senator Abe as an accessible leader, also commended him for awarding scholarship to an indigene of the community and pledged the support of the community to the senator.
He called on the people of the community to take advantage of the facilities to enhance their economic fortune.
