Olympafrica Calls For U-13, U-15 Tourney Registration

Registration for the maiden edition of Samsumg Under-13 and Under-15 Football tournament tagged “Olympafrica’ which has UNIPORT as its centre has started.
According to a release made available to sportswriters in Port Harcourt, the competition with a 7-A-Side format, and attracts free registration scheduled to kick-off from seventh to 24th August at the Sports Complex of the University of Port Harcourt with some tantalizing prizes to be given to the eventual winners and runners up including some consolation prizes.
The release further disclosed that the aim of organizing competitions, apart from selecting promising players that would be integral part of the Olympafrica, UNIPORT U-13 and U-15 football academical team, was to use the platform to promote health, team spirit as well as improve the football skills of the young ones.
It enjoins schools and amateur teams in the state wishing to participate to contact Dr. Ken Anugweje, Dr Chuks Agi and Coach D. Tamunokuro at the University of Port Harcourt.
