Grassroots Organisation Plans Table Tennis Clinic

The Management of Pereracquets Organisation, a grassroots Sports promoters based in Port Harcourt has said that arrangements have been concluded to hold its maiden edition of children Holiday Table Tennis clinic at Hotel Presidential in Port Harcourt Rivers State.
The coordinator of the organisation, Anthony Bredan stated this in an exclusive interview with Tidesports yesterday, in Port Harcourt, pointing out that the clinic would commence August 12th through 23rd this year.
According to him, Pereracquets is on grassroots sports organistion that has professional sportsman and women who specialises on lawn and table tennis.
He further explained that the organisation also train and promote tennis players both in Nigeria and abroad.
Bredabm said the two weeks children table tennis clinic is targeted at the age bracket of four to 12 years, adding that the purpose is to catch them young and to ensure that the country have abundant talents.
“Our interest is to catch them young. It is not in doubt that most of the champions in source of the sporting events started from this tender age, that is why we want to train the children, so that by the age of 16 to 17 they would become champions” Bredan said.
The coordinator disclosed that the registration is now on one urged parents to contact the organization at 50 Odili road, by Peculiar International School, in Port Harcourt.
He used the forum to call on fans and players of both table and lawn tennis to attend the clinic to enable the programme achieve the goals.
