FRSC Prosecutes 10 Transport Firms Over Safety Scheme
The Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC on Thursday in Benin arraigned 10 transport companies at an Oredo Magistrates’ court for allegedly failing to comply with the requirements of Road Transport Safety Standardisation Scheme (RTSSS).
The fleet operators are Muyi Line, Agbonifo Line, Cystal Line, Oghogho Express and Afemai Line.
The others are Rod Motors, Genesis Motors, Comfort Line, Osa’s Motors and Unity Motors.
The prosecution alleged that the operators failed to comply with the seven days notice given before the beginning of legal action served on them by the FRSC on March 12.
