Christians Seek Better Platform For Youth Dev
Christians have called on government at all levels to create an enabling environment that would promote and enhance the capacity of every Nigerian Youth in the country.
The State chairman of the Youth wing of Christians Association of Nigeria Comrade Ekiye . Ekiye made the call during an induction service held in honour of its new patron, Hon Vincent Wali held at its office in Port Harcourt over the weekend.
Comrade Ekiye said the call becomes necessary following the spate of increasing youth restiveness going across the country
According to him, youths are the most vulnerable category of the society that are most prone to the societal crisis, adding that for a society to grow, the youths must be adequately taken care of. He called on those with the mantle of leadership to give the youths the opportunity to contribute their own quota in the development of the society by making them efficient and self reliant. Comrade Ekiye urged the new patron to use the opportunity provided by his appointment to better the lots of the youths and assured him of their support.
The new patron of the Christians Association of Nigeria, Youth Wing (YOWICAN), Rivers State, Hon Wali assured that the appoint would spur him to do more for the service of God and development of humanity.
