Sharks FC Faces Enyimba Challenge In Port Harcourt

Fans of Sharks Football Club of Port Harcourt will expect their darling club to return to winning ways as they play their  week 18 fixture of the 2013 Nigeria Professional Football League at home today, especially, after losing out to Nasarawa United last weekend.

But the opposition cannot be taken lightly as their visitor is multiple league winners, Enyimba International FC of Aba.

Matches between the two clubs have always been an explosive affairs with Enyimba proving a difficult opposition for the Blue Angel, as Sharks are fondly called.

But Sharks are desperately in need of positive performance and maximum points to turn around their  season.

Thus, the team will go for broke against the Peoples Elephants with nothing but victory as the target.

However, both teams seem to be struggling for form so far this season, but their pedigree and existing rivalry would certainly set the mood and tone for an exciting encounter today.

Sharks are currently placed 20th on the league table with 14 points and looking to move up the rungs.
