Four Young Rivers Doctors Demand Automatic Employment
Four Rivers young medical Doctors who recently concluded from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) have demanded for scholarship and automatic employment from the state government.
The four Doctors are: Dr Ateke Onengiye Joshua who emerged the Batch B 2012 Corpers of the Year Kogi State, Dr Nyeche Ovundah who served in Ekiti State.
Dr Ogolo Donald who served in Ebonyi State and Dr Alamina Belema who emerged the third best corpers of the the year 2012 Batch B in Lagos State.
Speaking in an interview with The Tide in Port Harcourt Dr Ateke Onengiye Joshua said that they deserved automatic employment from Rivers State Government in view of the fact that they made the state proud in their various states of primary assignment.
Dr Joshua who was given a chieftaincy title of Atuluse of Ife-Olukotun by the Olukotun of Ife-Olukotun Obu Mohummed A. Shaibu said that he and his other colleagues were offered automatic employments by the various state governments where they served, noted that they rejected the offer because of the patriotic commitment towards the development of Rivers State. Dr Joshua who is the founder of Lifespring Medical and Youth Foundation, also pledged other readiness to partner with the state Ministry of Youth Affairs to improve the condition of youths in the state.
He said that they are ready to put in their best to improve the healthcare delivery system in the state, if given the opportunity to serve.
It would be recalled that Dr Joshua serve in General Hospital Ife-Olukotun Yaba East Local Government Area Kogi State, Dr Nyeche Ovundah served in General Hospital Iye -Ekiti, Dr Ogolo Donald served in Izzy Local Government Area, Ebonyi, State, while Dr Alamina Belema served in Lagos State.
