Rep Enjoins Nigerians To Embrace Peace, Unity

A member of the House of Representatives, Mr Olayemi Busari, last Monday urged Nigerians to embrace peace and unity to ehance the country’s advancement.

Busari, a member of the Accord Party, representing Egbeda/ Ona-Ara Federal Constituency of Oyo State in the house, told The Tide’s source in Ibadan that Nigerians should be united.

Nigerians, irrespective of their religious backgrounds, he said should be united and it would be easier to overcome the problem of insecurity facing the country.

The legislator advised citizens to use the Easter celebration to preach unity.

He said that the sacrifice made by Jesus Christ was to save the world and bring hope to the hopeless.

Busari enjoined Nigerians to emulate the virtues of Jesus Christ which were anchored on forgiveness and willingness.

He urged everyone to join hands to pray for peace, progress and unity of the country.
