Motor Show: Manufacturers Assure Customers Of Best Products

As the 8th Lagos International Motor Show comes up at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos, from May 10 to 16, 2013, manufacturers and distributors of commercial vehicles have expressed their readiness to participate in the show.

They have also assured their prospective customers of the best of commercial vehicles, be it buses and trucks.

The Tide correspondent gathered that some of the categories of commercial vehicles expected at the fair include cargo trucks, tippers, pick-ups, luxurious buses, light and heavy duty trucks, trailers, tractor head, trailers head, tankers and garbage trucks, among others.

Our correspondent also gathered that the show was to keep pace with the growing demand for durable and efficient commercial vehicles and trucks by logistics and business entrepreneurs in Nigeria.

It was also learnt that some vehicle manufacturing companies in the country like Leventis motors, distributor of Volkswagen and Eicher brand of vehicles, the National Trucks Manufacturers (NTM), the nation’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer and first Automobile workshop, distributors of FAW Trucks and buses were among other manufacturers of commercial vehicles that have indicated interest to participate at the week-long show.

They have all promised to continually create and consistently provide relevant, affordable, and dependable vehicles to  Nigerians and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) markets.

However, the truck distributors of Nigeria have said that they would storm the show with the best of vehicles of the delight of their potential customers and also showcase variant’s of their tropicalised trucks.

The fair will also feature the section of vehicle lubricants from Oando, Mobil Coin Ventures and Lubcon Ltd as they exhibit the best engine oils, and transmission fluids.

Over 50 original equipment manufacturers of automobile spare parts from Germany, India, Turkey, China, South Korea have booked their space at the fair.
