Lesbianism, Alien To Osun Female Players – Coach
The head coach of Osun Babes FC, Johnson Kehinde has said that the art of Lesbianism is alien to his players.
Kehinde, who said this at the weekend in an interview with in Osogbo, stressed that there was a high sense of discipline and dedication among the players.
He said that even if such a practice was rampant elsewhere, “Osun Babes players are above board’’.
“The coaching crew and welfare team play a parental role to the players by urging them to focus on the game in order to attain greater height.
“Engaging in such dirty things will not only hinder their performance, it can affect their morale and their future in the profession,’’ Kehinde said.
He said that the club’s players were monitored throughout the season for compliance, with its rules and regulations to ensure optimum performance in the league.
The coach lashed out at players who still indulge in the act of lesbianism, and advised them to desist from it in the interest of their career.
On the team’s performance in the Nigerian Women Professional League (NWPL), Kehinde disclosed that Osun Babes were holding their own against other teams in their group.
The Osun female side is locked in a battle of supremacy with Delta Queens, Adamawa Queens, Kogi Confluence, Nasarawa Amazons, FC Robo and Shettima Babes in Group A.
He boasted that the team would be among the super six at the end of the season.
The first six teams in both group A and B would participate in the maiden edition of the Nigeria Women Premier League expected to begin next season.
He said the team, which has won two matches and lost two in the ongoing season, was currently occupying the fourth position on the league table.
