Brown Ideye ended his goal drought by scoring the only goal for Dynamo Kiev in their slim win over Karpaty in the Ukrainian Premier League.

Brown had not scored for Dynamo in the League since his return from the Nations Cup in February. The 24-year-old however returned to the score sheet when he scored in the 64th minute after being assisted by Miguel Veloso.

Inspite of the long drought Brown is still the second highest goal scorer in the Ukrainian Premier League with 14 goals from 23 games.

Dynamo currently occupy second place in the League table but are nineteen points behind runaway champions Shakhtar Donetsk who have won twenty-three of their twenty-four games this season and have accumulated 69 points compared to Dynamo’s 50 points.

Taye Taiwo was on the bench for the entire duration of the game while Haruna Lukman was not listed.
