Group Reiterates Commitment To Good Governance
The Movement for Positive Change (MPC), a pressure group in Rivers State has reiterated its commitment to work round the clock to mobilise for good governance and englighten the people on the dangers of election apathy, violence and thuggery.
The chairman of the group, Mr. Roberson Jack who stated this last weekend called on Rivers people and politicians to shun acts that could jeopardize the already existing peace and development strides in the state being made possible by the present administration.
According to him, we shall re-assess, re-order the priorities of the group and work round the clock to mobilise for good governance and enlighten our people on the dangers of election apathy, violence and thuggery.”
Jack commended the efforts of the state government in fulfilling its elocutioneering promises to the people of the state by providing roads, good health care facilities and good educational system and environment.
He commended the people for conducting themselves in the last local government election in some local government and urged them to continue in the same manner in future elections.
