Dolphins, Sharks Seek Fresh Start, ’Morrow

Rivers State Premier League sides, Dolphins and Sharks Football Clubs will tomorrow seek to bring their league season back on track as they prosecute their respective week six matches.

For Dolphins, it is going to be a titanic clash against one of their regional rivals, Heartland FC of Owrri at the Liberation Stadium, Port Harcourt, while Sharks would face a daunting task in confronting wounded Lobi Stars in Makundi.

Indeed, Dolphins have a paltry five points from a possible 15 while Sharks have won only one and drawn one.

However, both clubs must try to rescue their season beginning from tomorrow. With the return of Flying Eagles players, Dolphins are expected to unleash their maximum arsenal against Heartland. Returnee Chidi Osuchukwu and Abduljeleel Ajagun would be  key.

Also Coach Stanley Eguma, who was one time coach of Heartland is expected to use his inside knowledge to maximum effect.

But Heartland is expected to provide another stern test to Dolphins. In spite of their current travails, the Federation Cup champions have a knack for frustrating Dolphins away from home.

Therefore, Coach Eguma must devise a way of ensuring that the visitors are oput to the sword as early as possible in the match.

For Sharks, a Lobi Stars team beaten 7-1 on the continent at the weekend will want to fight like wounded Lions and bounce back at the expense of the Blue Angles.

The onus now lies on new coach, Gbenga Ogunbote to show his magic wand and set Sharks on the route to recovery by leaving Makundi with something at the end of tomorrow encounter.
