Dolphins, Sharks FCs In Goalless Draw In PH …Sharks Unveil New TA
The first local Derby between Sharks FC and Dolphins FC in the Nigeria professional football league end in a goalless darw at Sharks Stadium in Port Harcoourt, yesterday.
The match which saw both sides attacking on commencement of proceeding yielded no goal from either side as attempts were foiled by the defence of both teams.
The game which did not witness the usual hash tackles as was the case in previous derbies, gave fans a dose of what to expect from both sides in the league that has recorded only five weeks of action.
However, the encounter was not without excitment as Sharks piled pressures to break Dolphins defence but without avail.
Speaking with Sports journalists after the encounter, Chief Coach of Sharks FC, Ere Dokubo expressed satisfaction with the level of play exhibited by his players attributing their performance to what he described as distractions.
He also disagreed with those who criticised Sharks of lack of quality players, adding that administrative issue may have distracted the team.
In a related development, Sharks FC unveiled the Sunshine Chief Coach, Gbenga Ogumbote as the new coach of the team.
He replaced Augustine Eguavoen who left the team as technical adviser, following contract disagreement.
