On the National Health Bill, the TUC urged the National Assembly to ensure that professional associations and registered trade unions in the health sector were included in the relevant organs and technical committee of the Federal Ministry of Health to ensure robust policy formation and industrial harmony in the sector.

The union called upon the National Assembly to pass the Petroleum Industrial Bill (PIB) and take a critical look on how sections of the bill would be beneficial to the country’s socio political and economic life.
