Sharks FC Rolls Out Measures For Effective Management

The newly appointed acting secretary of Sharks Football Club of Port Harcourt, Jerry Abredi, has said that administrative machinery has been put in place to ensure the effective running of the club.

He said that effective and efficient administration was imperative for the success of any organisation.

Abredi disclosed this in an exclusive interview with Tidesports yesterday in Port Harcourt.

He further explained that the  inability of any organisation to define job schedules was largely traceable to management crisis, assuring that his administration would ensure crisis free management of the club.

“As I am speaking to you, machinery has been put in place to ensure smooth running of the club.

I will run an administration where everybody in the club will do his or her job effectively without interference”, he said.

The acting scribe who was also the secretary of the club’s supporters club used the opportunity to appeal for support, adding that a successful administration needed collective effort..

‘I cannot succeed without the support of other management staff, I am appealing to them for co-operation, because it is only collective efforts that make a successful administration”, he stated.

Until his appointment, he was the personal assistant to the state Commissioner for Sports.
