He appealed to the Ministry of Special Duties, Etche local government council, corporate organizations and public – spirited individuals to come to the aid of the victims.

One of the affected persons, a widow, Mrs Margareth Egbunefu said her building of five rooms was de-roofed, clothes and kitchen utensils were destroyed by rain water.

She said that she had been squatting with a relative appealing to Etche Local Government Council to assist her and other affected persons with relief materials.
