Kalabari Chiefs Pass Vote Of Confidence On Amanyanabo

The Kalabari Council of Chiefs,  has passed a vote of confidence on the Amanyanabo of Kalabari, King Theophilous J. Princewill.

The Kalabari chiefs, who came up with the resolution last Saturday  commended the Rivers State Government, Kalabari people and security organs in the state for ignoring some group of people who have continued to sow seed of discord among the people and sponsored false publications in the papers about the stool of the king whom they said his eleven years of golden reign had made the Kalabari kingdom proud and progressive.

Alabo Odibo Tom Boy Harry who spoke on behalf of the chiefs, noted that the security challenges in the kingdom were now things of the past, and commended the king and his council for doing their best to sustain peace in the kingdom.

The chief assured the Amanyanabo of Kalabari of their support to increase the trend of development in the kingdom and also produce more professionals in the areas of medicine, law and engineering for the overall interest of the state.

The chief described King T.J.T. Princewill as an embodiment of peace, a visionary and unassuming leader whose humility was infectious and had continued to develop his people.

“We as chiefs will continue to encourage him to continue with his exemplary leadership and good deeds,” he said.

The Kalabari Council of Chiefs, however, assured the people that it would continue to join forces with the King to embark on projects that would promote peace amongst the people.

Earlier, at our Saviour’s Church Cathedral, Buguma for the church service to mark the king 11 years anniversary on the throne, the officiating minister, Rt. Reverend Akin Falana, urged the monarch to ensure that he continued to do the things that would please the greater populace and God Almighty.
