How RnB Made Some Nigerian Artistes
In the advanced countries like America, Britain, Canada among others, their major sources of revenue are from the entertainment industry, mainly musicians movie artistes and it has been the major source of livelihood for most of the African-Americans who mainly started RnB music.For the whites, bispanics and mullatos are not left out as it has greatly made them millionaires and has given them fame and respect throughout Europe and America even in Africa and Asia. It has also in turn led to the transformation of our music industries rapidly introducing more experience and technical culture to our singers and products which led to the transformation of the industry.
Most successful musicians in the world today are mainly RnB/Pop stars usher, Terry Raymond, Micheal Jackson, ne-yo Chrisbrown among others, they are mainly RnB artistes, and they have been certified by billboards as the most successful artiste of the decade. Singers like Trey Song, Jason Deruco, John Hort, Justin Bubber are also gaining international relations everyday and have won numerous awards thereby making RnB the first, when it comes to genre classification.
Nigerian artistes like Darie, Banky W, Wizkid, Iceprince, D Wesley, M-Kanze, Indians, Terry G, Timsys Jessy Jazz, P Square among others are not left out as they have made huge progress in their career and they have been nominated for top awards in Africa and Nigeria and have always come out first, Tu-face Idibia was the first Nigerian and also the first African to win the Europe Music award (EMA) and many awards in Nigeria. P Square has also won many awards, the same goes to Indiana who was recently nominated as the best producer in Niger Delta. He too has won many awards.
Recently, a reliable source had it that 2Face, P Square, Wande, Coal, Banky W, Wizkid and KC Fresh are the richest musicians in Africa and Nigeria per se, with P Square toping the list followed by 2Face and Wizkid and all the above named musicians are all RnB and popstars, making Rhythm and Blues still the famous and most popularly genre of music in Nigeria and Africa.
