Governor Mukhtar Yero of Kaduna State has urged civil servants to assist his administration in developing the state.

Yero, who made the call while addressing the workers at the state secretariat, urged them to be dedicated, hardworking and have the fear of God in whatever they do.

He said, “I don’t have the monopoly to move the state forward. We need your advice and support to take the state to the next level.

He pleaded “assist us to block the loopholes where the state’s money is cornered.”.

The governor pledged to look into the workers pension, housing scheme and welfare.

He told them, “You are accountable to God. There will be a day that we will all account to our God. “Try to do what is right. He said, without the civil service, there is no way we can move the state forward stressing that “Kaduna state is ours and we have no other state than this.”

The civil servants then appealed to the governor to look into their welfare.
