Zone Three Plans 132-Man Contingent: Nigeria Police Games

The Zone three Police Command, comprising Adamawa, Gombe and Taraba states has said that the zone is sending a 132-man contingent to the 10th Nigeria Police Force Games, tagged “Port Harcourt 2013’’.

The AIG in charge of the Zone, Alhaji Mohammed Tambari, disclosed this yesterday in Yola when he received the Games Unity Torch at the zonal headquarters.

Tambari said the zone was fully prepared for the competition and hoped to perform well.

He said that the Games, apart from keeping the policemen fit, also provided them the opportunity to contribute to sports development.

The AIG named policemen and women like Samuel Peter, Kikelomo Ajayi, Chioma Ajunwa and the late Sunday Bada as some of those who made the police and nation proud in sports.

The Police Games is scheduled to commence on February 23 in Port Harcourt.
