ONELGA Polls: PDP Stalwart Hails Ahiamadu’s Emergence
A Peoples Democtaic Party (PDP) stalwart, Hon Richmond Nwangwe says the emergence of Mr Augustine Ahiamadu as the chairmanship candidate for Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area during the recent primary election is in the right direction.
Hon Nwangwe told The Tide in an interview in Port Harcourt that the candidature of Mr Ahiamadu as would be chairman of ONELGA was the peoples choice in view of his antecedent.
According to him, Ahiamadu possesses the quality and charisma that will propel him to governor Ogba/Egbema/ Ndoni Local Government without fear or favour but with respect for the rule of law.
He will have no fear for fairness and equity and he will toe the footsteps of the real Egiman by ensuring that good footprint is left on the sands of ONELGA land, he said.
He urged the people to see Mr Ahiamadu as the right candidate that would deliver the dividends of democracy to them, noting that the PDP primary election in ONELGA was a manifestation of true democracy.
He pointed out that where somebody comes from does not matter in politics but what matters, is the ability of the candidate to deliver and satisfied the peoples wishes.
His agenda and vision is what matters, his ability to discharge his mandate should be paramount and not where he comes from, Nwangwe emphasised.
