The Abia Executive Council Forum, a body comprising members of the State Executive Council, has insisted that none of its members was a “black sheep’’.

The forum’s chairman, Mr Ume Kalu, disclosed in a statement  entitled “Mischievous Falsehood, and that no member of the forum went to a former governor of the state to complain about the present administration in the state.

“Under the present government, exco members are better, in comparison with happenings during the former administration,” Kalu said.

He described members of the group as credible men and women who enjoy unprecedented job satisfaction  from their appointment.

“Apart from the paraphernalia of office legitimately at the disposal of each member of exco forum, members are certainly and obviously proud to be serving in Gov. Theodore Orji’s government.

“Appointees serving under Orji hold the governor in very high esteem for many reasons, such as not demanding any bribe from them or subjecting them to any sort of fetish oath-taking before being appointed,’’ Kalu stated.

He added that the Orji-led administration had consistently proved to be driven by passion to transform Abia.

The group was reacting to insinuations that some political office-holders in Abia were complaining of not getting anything from the present state government.
