Court Restrains Two From Obagi Stool

An Omoku High Court presided over by Justice Sobere Biambo has restrained Maduba Davidson and Elder Chukwukere Ile from parading themselves as the Ochi Oha I of Obagi in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, Rivers State, pending the determination of the motion on notice.

Also restrained were their privees, servants or any other person at their behest from carrying out any purported installation or coronation of themselves as the Ochi Oha I of Ogagi community.

Justice Biambo’s interim injunction order followed a suit number OHC/6/2013 filed by His Royal Highness, Eze Benson Abella, Eze Nkweke Odu Oha I of Obagi against the defenders.

While delivering the order, the judge said that after hearing B. I. Akata Esq, counsel for the claimant/Applicant motion ex-parte, “it is hereby ordered that interim injunction be and is hereby issued restraining the defendants/applicants by themselves, privies, servants or any other person from carrying out any purported installation or coronation of themselves as Ochi Oha I of Ogbagi in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, Rivers State pending the determination of the motion on notice.

The case was adjourned to March 28, 2013 for motion.
