Fake Journalists Worry Kano NUJ

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Kano State Council, has expressed concern over the increase in the number of fake Journalists in the state and the country.

This was contained in a communiqué signed by the union Chairman and Secretary respectively Comrades Abduljalal Haruna and Adamu Gammo.

The communiqué stated that any fake journalists, caught in Kano State will be prosecuted as the union ethics committee has been directed to fish out such fake journalist              The communiqué further stressed that the union expressed dismay over the increased number of fake journalist in the state and pledged to fish them out through its ethics committee.”

The Union expressed appreciation to the Governor of Kano State Athaji Musa Kwakwaso for the installation of security light to NUJ Secretariat in the state.

The union used the occasion of the congress meeting to prayed for the repose of the souls of Journalists who died in the preceding 2012 year.
