Eagles Stars Go For Extra Training
A number of Super Eagles players have taken to putting in an extra shift as preparations for the African Nations Cup heats up in the Nigeria camp.
On Friday, the quartet of Nosa Igiebor, Elderson Echiejile, Obiorah Nwankwo and Kenneth Omeruo all stayed behind to practise on their own after the regular team session at the team’s camp in Faro, Portugal.
The players practised set pieces, crosses and shooting.
“We just want to get better for the Nations Cup, nothing special,” Real Betis midfielder Igiebor said after the session which lasted over 20 minutes.
They were later joined by assistant coach Sylvanus Okpala who showed appreciation at the players’ commitment to the cause.
