Didier Drogba’s agent, Thierno Seydi  has confirmed that he has been in touch with Juventus, although he insists the Ivorian is ‘concentrating on the  African Cup of Nations (Afcon) for now’.

Drogba joined Shanghai from Chelsea in the last transfer window, but as well as The Old Lady, AC Milan and Celtic are also showing interest in him.

Seydi confirms that the Serie A champions are interested in the Shanghai Shenhua striker, as they are keen to add more firepower to their strike-force, but for now Drogba is focussing on the African Cup of Nations.

Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta revealed earlier this week that the club are looking at the Ivorian, among others.

“It is true that there has been contact with Juventus. Nothing’s concrete at this point, though,” Seydi told Tidesports source.

“Juventus, AC Milan, Celtic are all interesting teams, but Didier is still a Shanghai Shenhua player. He’s a great player and he is only thinking about the Afcon at the moment.”
