Comedians Set To Crack Ribs In PH

All is now set for Port Harcourt
based comedians who are not only expected to crack ribs with their jokes at the
unveiling of Rugged brand of 9Ja comedy show, but to take comedy to the next
level in the Garden City.

The show which comes up on Saturday, January 26th 2013 at Everrich Resort, Choba is sponsored by
grand, Everrich, Wet paint Graphics, Raypower, Luciano Records, City People
magazine and Hot Sports Cage.

Among the comedians slated to perform at the historic event
are Akas Baba (Wazobia FM), Olakekrun, Da O’square (Raypower), Porico, Omo
Talk, Chinmony, Adviser, Dandy Boy, Rfature Naija Mumu, GID, Prince Hezekiah,
Alasa Pronto, Wet Paint (Child Abuse Amabassador) etc.

Speaking in an interview with The Tide entertainment,
the organiser of the show, Mr. Ubi Emmanuel aka Rugged Pastor said the event is
not only to unveil his talent as a comedian, but to take the business to a
higher level in the state.

According to him, comedy today is no longer an all comers
game, but a lucrative profession, but one must be creative to survive in it. He
said Port Harcourt is the next place to be in comedy business.        The seasoned comedian also noted that apart
from the talents that abound in Rivers State, its legendary hospitality and
enabling environment were some of the major attractions that draw entertainers
to the state.

The Omarelu born comedian reiterated that Port Harcourt based
fans are fun loving people and that Saturday’s event would be one of the best
comedy shows in the state, so no body should be left behind as the show is
free.
