Property Developers Back To Sites In OBALGA
Property development that seemed abandoned in some parts of Rivers State particularly within the Obio/Akpor axis of Port Harcourt, have taken a fresh twist, as developers have fully mobilised back to sites for continuation.
The Tide has observed that some areas, and project sites that were abandoned during the rainy period, especially the period of heavy flooding, have now become busy again, following the advent of dry season.
It was observed that the rate of development activities have increased and a lot of labourers are now working in some of the sites visited to cover lost days, as well as accomplish targets for projects within this festival period.
When The Tide went round some areas along the Rumuosi-Rumuekini and Rumuaholu axis in Obio/Akpor area; the rate at which work was going on in some project sites suggests that some of the developers have targets to meet up with in this Christmas season.
Some labourers at the site were also very busy to accomplish their target and make more money for the Christmas season, as many were willing to work throughout the day to earn their maximum wage.
Few who confided in The Tide revealed that the period of flood and rainy season were a very dull period for them, as almost all the developers went off the site, but that the advent of dry season has given them another opportunity to make up for the lost period.
