Nollywood Veteran Actor, Enebeli Elebuwa Is Dead … As AGN Plans Befitting Burial For Pete Eneh

News reaching The Tide Entertainment has it that Nolly Wood Veteran Actor Enebeli Elebuwa is dead. According to the source, the actor who is known as Andrew in The Nigerian Television Authority’s drama, Checking Out  was among the infulential actors in Nollywood who had brought fame, discipline and hard work among the actors and actresses is in the industry.

According to former AGN Presidents Ejike Asiegbu and Segun Arinze, the death of Elebuwa is a great shock as it has left a big vacuum in the industry. They said he was one of the best actors Nollywood ever had.

Meanwhile, the Actors Guild of  Nigeria (AGN) has concluded plans to give a befitting burial to late Veteran actor, Pete Eneh. The actor died on Thursday, November 13, 2012, few days after his left leg was amputated.

According to the Secretary General of AGN, Abubakar Yakub, “Pete Eneh was a complete actor and gentle man. He was a father to all, helped nurtured AGN and stood by the Guild till death. We will miss him greatly and pray for his soul to rest in the bosom of the Lord”.

The National president of AGN, Ibinabo Fibresima, described the death of the veteran actor as a big blow to the motion picture industry in Nigeria, stressing that it was part of the reason she was keen on securing a health, pension and insurance scheme for practitioners.

Ibinabo said “firstly on behalf of AGN and the entire motion picture industry, I express my condolences to the family of late Pete Eneh, sadly, death is a necessary end that will come. But when death takes away a good man, the heart bleeds. I am in grief and utter shock over his demise”.
